The final is open book.  
There will be no makeup exam for the final.
The last day for makeups is Monday 15th June.  

All quizzes and exams, including the final, are cumulative, open book and will
take place during the class. 
The quizzes will be 30 minutes long and will be
based on material taught in previous classes.
The midterm exam will be 60 minutes long,
Open book refers just to the books used in the course and to any notes you have taken in class.
Graphing calculators are allowed.

Homework
Homework (one per week): ten problems each five points.
Homework is due each Monday in class, beginning Monday
May 18th, except for the last homework which will be due on Thursday 18th June and the second homework which will be due on Tuesday May 26th. 

Grading
Grading will be curved and based on total score only, if you pass the final.
If you pass the final you may expect a grade in the A+ to B- range. 
If you fail the final you may expect a grade in the C+ to F range.

Grading scheme: 
4 quizzes at 40 points per quiz:           160pts.
6 homeworks at 50 points per homework:     300pts.
1 midterm exam at 100 points:		   100pts.
1 final exam at 240 points:                240pts.
Maximum possible score:			   800pts.
