The Pittsburgh International Airport is located about 25 minutes from the University of Pittsburgh and is served by several major airlines, including American, America West, Continental, Delta, Northwest, Southwest, and United.
A taxi ride to the campus is about $50. There is also bus transportation from the airport to campus on the 28X Airport Flyer (Port Authority).
The weather in Pittsburgh in early May is a bit unpredictable. Typical daytime highs are generally in the 60s-70s with overnight lows in the 40s. It is often rainy in May, so remember to bring an umbrella.
