AUTO is a continuation package that
allows you to compute bifurcation curves and track fixed points and
periodic orbits. In order to use AUTO you need a real good
approximation of a fixed point. Change I back to 0 and click on
Ok in the Parameter Window. Change the initial value of V back to -65 and click
on Go in the Initial Data Window. In the Main Window, click Initialconds Last or
tap i l and repeat this a few times. This uses the last value of
the previous integration as initial values for the next. This way, we
are sure to have gone onto a fixed point.
Click on File Auto to bring up the AUTO window.
